ABOUT
I'm Francesco Curia – AI Manager, researcher, University Lecturer, and founder based in Rome. My work sits at the intersection of rigorous academic inquiry and high-stakes industrial application, supported by a PhD in Operations Research from Sapienza University of Rome.
Over the past decade, I've led AI initiatives across defence, intelligence and enterprise–from electronic warfare analytics to building the Data & AI department at CY4GATE, leading AI at DEAS, and today serving as AI Manager at BIP, where I architect enterprise Agentic AI platforms, Large Language Model ecosystems, semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and responsible AI governance.
Alongside my industry work, I serve as Lecturer in the Master di II Livello in Data Intelligence e Strategie Decisionali at Sapienza University of Rome, where I teach AI Data-Driven Security–a graduate course focused on the security of artificial intelligence systems, including prompt injection, indirect prompt injection, data poisoning, model stealing, adversarial attacks, AI red teaming and secure LLM architectures.
Beyond enterprise AI, I design and build complete products end-to-end. I am the founder of DOMIKA, an AI-powered Research Intelligence Platform, and Top Boy Artist Factory, a digital record label and creative studio. Both reflect my passion for transforming ambitious ideas into scalable real-world applications.

Cybersecurity AI
An AI system for malware detection and classification through Computer Vision.
Design and development of a malware analysis engine that transforms binary files into visual representations, enabling analysis through Computer Vision models. The system combines deep learning techniques with a hybrid approach based on feature engineering and expert rules, improving accuracy in the detection and classification phases.

Intelligent automation of Digital Forensics processes.
Development of an AI platform for forensic analysts to automate repetitive tasks during the acquisition and analysis of digital devices, including computers and smartphones. The system optimises investigative workflows, reducing operational time and standardising analysis procedures.

Network anomaly detection via Autoencoder models and log analysis.
Development of a Network Detection system based on Autoencoder models to identify anomalous behaviour within network traffic. Through log analysis and traffic pattern reconstruction, the model computes the reconstruction error and applies dynamic anomaly thresholds to detect potentially malicious or suspicious events.

Intelligent password generation engine for password recovery and security assessment activities.
Design of an AI engine capable of generating and prioritising password candidates through machine learning models and analysis of linguistic and behavioural patterns. The system was conceived to support authorised password auditing, recovery and penetration testing activities, optimising password cracking strategies over traditional dictionary or brute force approaches.
Cybersecurity AI
Automatic audio recognition and analysis system to support intelligence activities.
Development of a platform based on Audio Recognition and Speech AI technologies for the automatic processing of audio streams from authorised interception activities. The system integrates transcription, voice event identification and content analysis, enabling faster review and classification of recordings by operators.
